This place was an absolute gem, a run of underground passageways, stairs, cells, courts and a great view of Sheffield's city centre. Although now quite run down, it's still a must-see part of Sheffield's Urbex scene. With the original building being a Victorian town hall and an extension for the court dated from around the 1970's, this building is a fantastic concoction.

Mushroom!!

The boilers - Pitch black in here, image taken with the help of a torch and tripod :)

I loved the clock faces reflected in the bulb

I also got up early to take a couple of pictures of the sun rising from the top of Cannon's Brewery

My absolute favourite place in Sheffield!

Thanks for looking :-D

Awesome, Awesome Awesome. I love Shef!
Ace pics of an ace building. Thanks for sharing dude! :)

Nice set of pics, looked like a good buzz,, how was the wooden ladder up to the Clock Tower.
Nice one..

The wooden ladder is still there, standing the test of time...mind the pun :)

Love seeing shots of this place and great shots they are too would love to have a wee mooch round this gaff to be truthful would love to have a mooch round anywhere at the mo as my pub is taking up all my time at the moment

8th pic, I wonder if the blocked up doorway was an entrance to one of Sheffield's legendary tunnels

As far as I'm aware it was the tunnel directly linking the Police station with the court. However, it was blocked up very close to the gate, which may mean there are other passageways off of this passage?

Amazing photos! Dereliction and mushrooms...two of my greatest loves :D courts of law...not so much ;) love the reflections in the bulbs too
