Ilkeston Co op Derbyshire

Whilst working in a still open downstairs section of the Ilkeston Co op building i decided to grab a power tool (credibility prop), as a dewalt drill, tape measure and clip board are your access all areas pass, it at least makes it look like you are working in the building. Had a good mooch round the unlocked areas.. A couple of photos were taken prior to it closing although only by days.

The photo quality is not up to my normal standard, only had my mobile on me when i went for a mooch.

good old Ilson coop ! been in here many a time, used to pop to the top floor for a breccas some mornings when working in Ilson, was allways luke warm though
Classic art deco part on the corner, matches the old Ritz cinema opposite, thats deco as well.
Not sure what they have planned for the coop, as far as i know, the Ilkeston Coop was the original one, the flagship store.
I'l be posting an Ilson derelict shortly too

Intrigued as to where you will be in old olson town.., really new to this so need to start looking for places, want to keep it local ideally..

Lol, you might want to re-word your paragraph too, it makes it sound a little like you used a drill for access. I know that you mean you were using it as a credibility prop, but you know how some people misunderstand things

Thank you people for the guidelines on actually putting photos on here correctly, it was after midnight when i was trying to fathom it out and lost the will!

Need to up my game now and go out and explore..
