POLICE STATION 1937 Corner of Hollycroft and Upper Bond Street. The County Council Standing Joint Committee of 12 Nov 1930 stated that the existing police station and court were inadequate to requirements. The county architect had submitted plans for alterations to the police station and courthouse on Stockwell Head, but it was eventually resolved that a scheme be submitted for new police buildings on a more convenient site (Hinckley Times, 14 Nov 1930) anyway pictures
