After failing at a few bait roof tops in Brum we decided on this one. After being told we couldn’t park in the carpark of the Axis building as it was police parking we decided to move the car, only later did I find out it wasn’t the normal police but the local BTP headquarters, that could have been a big oops.

It turns out that the actual building we climbed is a new 18 storey, 250 bedroom, Holiday Inn Express hotel. It’s located right opposite the Axis building and next to the Crowne Plaza hotel.

After accessing the site and climbing some scaff etc to find a way inside we then trudged up the stairs to the roof

Some awesome buildings and structures can be seen from the roof tops so I’ll let the pictures tell the rest of the story

That was a surprise, thought it was going to be a rather mundane thread and well wonderful night shots of Birmingham. Nice one

Nice. I really like the colour in the cranes. Looks a bit like computer game screen shots. A bit. To me.
