In October 2009 it was announced that WT Henley's would be moving to Sandwich after operating for nearly 100 years in one town. This site was established around 1906. In 1959 WT Henley was taken over by AEI, then GEC in 1967, then by TT Electronics in 1997.

The majority of the site was demolished in January 2010 and is now mostly wasteland. All that remains are the white office buildings from around the 1930s, and the factory/research labs.

Thanks for looking,

A pentagram with the phrase "eat shit" - that's definitely one of a kind as far as mindless graffiti goes. You've got some nice shots there, can't have been easy in that kind of light. Nice work, thanks for sharing.

you have come away with some nice photos Rubex concidering the conditions, i do like the roof top shot over looking the water;)

Great find Rubex. Loving those staircases.

I agree, the staircase shot was good and not straightforward to set up, what I'd expect from from her though, she has developed into a fine photographer,

Rubex on the roof! Is she planning to moonlight as Santa?

Aww thanks Smiler, very kind of you :)

Moonlighting as Santa sounds like a good idea - imagine the derelict buildings you'd spot
