Hey guys,

Took a trip out of town with some friend for chance to photograph a Cottage about 20 mins out of town. with a little investigation I found the location. Not much to go on as it still has houses 20 yards or so next door. Anyway we parked the wheels up about half a mile down road and started our walk. A quite country road, was passed by a few cars and a farmer. Had a few funny looks but carried on regardless. Arrived at the site, had a quick sneaky look over the overgrown footpath. Where we were wolf whistled by the next door neighbour, a decent older fella who gave us a little history about the place. It had been left rot for a number of years but no sign of who lived in it. Squatters had tried to break in and cause internal damage so unfortunately the neighbour barricaded the only entrance. I had a nose around but found no other entrance. So we left for the second destination. Which was a abandoned tool shed.

This place was snuck behind a building and hidden away from any passing human foot traffic so you had to use your eyes a little more creatively. But once inside was full of junk with heaps of saw dust and other waste pots pans. Kids bikes and Tree sapling cover. The crown in the jewels however was a Saw blade and table, this think was old, but had not been use for some time. My word cant describe this so I'll let the video talk instead. Next stop was the Quarry.

The quarry was just a short walk down the road over an iron bridge, with a entrance still used for a local industrial site. Two buildings existed just outside, A barn type which was padlocked up. and another with a barred door This door was wide open and you could just walk through. Main room was painted a deep red with a little graffiti on the walls and a small but over grown fireplace, damp and rot had a begun to crack through parts of the wall and the ceiling. The next rooms where a toilet section and wash station with a fridge and barred up window. Check the video out and photographs are here https://flic.kr/s/aHskR1xBmx
