So here finally is the first of my 'big three' which rounded off my explore adventures.
This also happens to be my other joint favourite place, alongside the synagogue.
It is by far one of the most beautiful buildings I have ever explored as well, but it very nearly didn't happen.
We arrived in the town fairly late in the evening to scope the massive imposing building out, intending to do a circuit and look for possible ways in to use early the next morning. We spotted a very dodgy 'possible' way in around the back on the modern extension and then circled around to the sides facing the road. The rear end of the old half cuts in away from the road and there is an old parking lot and covered area behind, and with nary any effort at all we found one of the windows was able to be slid open. Buoyed by that we slept on it and returned full of enthusiasm the next morning knowing our plan of action. That was until we got close to the rear of the building and we spotted a police cruiser camped under the covered area facing straight at the window we had intended to go in through. Carrying on walking past on the street trying to not look too suspicious we headed back to the fairly dodgy way in we'd also spotted on the other side. After a climb my mate was in and he said he'd find his way to a nearby basement fire door and see if it was able to be opened for us. After ten minutes of awkward waiting around we were in, and I was blown away.
Thanks for looking
