This Grade II listed building was built in 1894-96 and has been altered altered 1931 and 1967. The large children's mural was designed in 1931 by Herbert Wood.
In more recent times it has been The Taj Banqueting Suite which was evacuated in 2014 when when an explosion caused a fire in the kitchen. (Access Denied)

Thanks for looking :)

Love those stairs and the detail on the floor! That's a beautiful place, great find. Thanks for sharing!

I'm going for the wood paneling, the spiral staircase and the mosaic floor. Must have been quite a place in its time, a pity its going derelict.

Hi. What is the postcode for this building? also, how did you get in? thanks

The post code should be easy to find with quick Google and access, if there is any is found by going and having a look yourself but as this post is 4 years old and entry points change on any derp regularly it would be pointless telling you anyway.

You will get nowhere by just popping up and asking for info without doing any legwork and it's also against forum rules.

Not that I begrudge it's appearance on here, but it's criminal that it's been allowed to be empty for so long.
