Leicester Central was a railway station in Leicester, England. It was situated to the west of the city centre, on Great Central Street It opened in 1899 and closed in 1969
the booking hall and other ground level parts were used by car breakers, The parcel office was used by a joinery firm, they've all moved out now as the whole area is being developed to look like this

I know its not epic or whatever but
It was nice to have a wander around inside

Maybe not epic, but it's still a lovely victorian building and you got some nice shots. Cheers MD.

I really like it and would happily wander about it.love old railway stuff

Same here. It's railway and brilliant.
As much as I like dereliction it'll be nice to see it restored. I've got books on the GCR and it'll be good to preserve some more of it.

I could quite happily wonder about here, love the masonry, the bricks, the metalwork...hope some of it remains! A good explore!
