East Lancs Railway

Heres the pics from the little get together at the East Lancs Railway,
Myself, Jebu, Miss Survey and Kite Flyer attended, although a small number, we did manage to spend a little more time in the off limit areas.

Heres a few of my pics(usual quality i'm afraid), hopefully there will be more on the way.

Please cover any kids eyes, yes it IS thomas!

ooooooooooooooh its a good job my toddler is upstairs otherwise she'd have wanted to go here lol. she loves thomas.

excellent pics, I love seeing anything to do with old railways, and that 56 brought back some memories of going up to dad's work when he worked on the railways.

And still like those carriages. You had a little peace when you travelled in those. wish they'd bring modern versions of those ones back.

Would have liked to have joined you on this one, sadly my drain needed sorting out so couldn't make it.

Nice to see some of the old school 'slam door' carriages.

I should have numbered the pics, shouldn't I?

If I've counted right, then they are both cranes, one steam, the other deisel powered. Unfortunately, they won't fit on my drive. Be useful for mending the roof on my house - 3 stories (or should that be storeys) high.
