Interesting place, was sad to see the fire damage though... Access was comical and I'm amazed we didn't get pinged by one of the cameras or many many people who saw us climb the wall.

One of those explores where you spend the first twenty minutes worrying about getting caught then you just forget, until you get eyes on security.. But carry on anyway.

That ceiling shots fantastic.... If security turn up you could always try the old hiding in a cupboard trick...

Absolutely love this place. Love seeing pics of the main staircase and all those beautiful painted ceilings.

Would love to see it when its opened as the new Marriott Flagship hotel, (think its going to be a Marriott, will have to have a look now).

Cheers Am,

:) Sal

Wicked shots, just a shame the colour ones came out a bit blurred. The B+W stair shot it a killer!!!!!

Such a great place with loads of interesting details. Yes, me too re the ceiling! That first pic of the stairs (with the red light glowing through the wrought-iron work) ...superb.

Cheers :)

Yeah the shots are all rubbish, I had been exploring all day and I was tripod less and limited to a 3 second exposure. I will pop back soon with a wide angle lens and a grown up camera ;)
