Eastmoor Secure Unit - March 08

Hi, visited with my other half and another member. My first real urbex (my other being a tunnel!). This was a real buzz! Apart from someone banging around in another section (doing what???) and the pigeons frantically escaping past us this was a very strange and ghostly place and a brilliant initiation.

Really like the pic of the bell, it is a wierd one, not seen one like that before. And love the pool shot, it's a shame that couldn't be used for schools or something. Love all the outside shots of the stone work. Enjoyed seeing all of them.

Thats a cool bell... Like that shot of where the plaster's came of the wall, looks quite arty... Have to nip by this spot sometime. Was it pikey's banging around in there!!!

Thanks, the bell is a strange one. I like the fact that they have had a cage round it to stop the inmates from being annoying, aiming balls etc at it!

It is well worth a visit. I am not sure but they were not exactly being quiet! However, I didn't hear voices so there can't have been many of them. Also the police are pretty hot at preventing access at the moment so we were lucky to find it, probably not just a coincidence!
