Excellent pics mate. Really like that room with the slanted windows, almost control tower like. Like pic 6 (not sure what exactly it is, but i like it :) ). and the winding gear, etc. Lots of mechanical stuff still left there. Love seeing pics of anything mechanical.

Nice. :) It won't last much longer! Looks like the pikeys are in full swing. Such a waste of an electric motor!

Hi, Picture six is one of the original lift control panels. The picture shows the relays which were used to control the lift. Before the days of computers it was all done by "relay logic". All the lift equipment was badged as Otis Waygood.
I wish I had other people with me on this explore though, I was a bit spooked out exploring this place on my own :(
