Eastmoor Secure Unit. Sep 08.

Kinda of a just spur of the moment explore waiting for mexico to meet us at the bank so we popped to Eastmoor

Place is pretty tightly locked up
but you know us .

had meanwood along again
he's our personal tour guide!

this place is pretty big, well the main building is the surrounding buildings were no go's
unfortunately
it's weird how the surrounding buildings were alot newer than the main building
well had a fun time and the flash died half way round and it was awful dark inside so sorry there's not that many pictures
although I'm betting some of your computers are thanking us for no more 80 odd picture posts!

Lol.
I was an inmate there in the 1980's. The modern buildings were the dorms, the quad is where the workshops and kitchens were.
The part furthest away from the chapel end is the secure unit.
Happy days.

Stunning images

As has been mentioned in other reports on this site; take particular care, when exploring this facility not to annoy the residents in the houses at the lower end of the grounds. The residents will call out the police and security if they hear any suspicious noises. Unfortunately this site is still being plagued by vandals and silly buggers, much to the annoyance of of these householders.

Interesting to see some up to date pics of here, it's been a few months since our last visit, the vegatation in the courtyard has gone mad!! I think in the current climate it's gonna be around a bit longer yet! Nice pics too guys by the way.
