    Arrow Medical School

Worked near a medical school recently and pursuaded the caretaker to let me take a look round..it has a real-life hospital ward and operating theatre along with some patients too..the students take their exams under the gaze of cctv and are monitored in Swindon and Oxford..they have to scrub up and do everything that they would do in the real hospital.

    Staff

    Patient..he cost 10k!

    Head case

    Ouch!

    Eyes down

    Ward

    These cost 20k each apparantley

    Theatre

I found this interesting but slightly surreal too.Hope its of interest to some of you.

I bet it was weird walking round with all the dummies there, would have been scary if one had just started moving and it was a real person.

    Good Pics! :)

    Rather disturbing, but great.

    Lost: Which one was that?

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
