Th eother day I went to Reading to get some things for my wife and I took the oppertunity to get some pictures of Reading Bus and coach Station. I remember it being built back in the 1960's when I was at school over there.
The bus station as you see it from Station hill. This is the exit where the busses came out to go to the destinations. The building on top was mecca bingo but I remember it as Top Rank ballroom where they use to have a disco every weekend. Thurday in paticular was when the mods came from Slough in their scooters. They parked in the car park one side and the Reading mods th eother side. looked quite cool but useally it ended in a fight after .

Only thing you see here now is pigions and people takeing a shortcut.
This little chap did not look too happy sat on his own.
I thing this was a ticket office, I never had to use it as I had a season ticket.
