I've put this in misc as I'm not sure whether it's military or industrial. The walls and roof underground look very, very military but the location and above ground decor is very industrial.

First thing I knew about this explore was when my brother phoned me and said "Dude, I've found an underground vault, you need to be here!!!"

Suffice to say, I flew out of work, followed his directions and ended up next to him facing a heavy LOCKED steel door with my shiny new 8Mp Samsung i8510.

A ring to a friendly locksmith and 2 hours later the lock was drilled and the door was open (COMPLETELY LEGAL ENTRY).

Inside was, unfortuantely not much, but there were some groovy aiming marks on the walls.

Walking around, still underground, we found this paper dated Thursday June 30th 1977

This was a once only , so I hope I did it justice.

I'm still trying to get to grips with all the settings on my new camera, so bear with me.

Mate that's a great looking place, but it sounds like you just admitted to breaking in:confused: Weather you did or didn't that's what it reads like.

Yeah, it does sound like that now you mention it, but it was completely legal, we were working at the time. Edited my post to suit, cheers.

I'm going to stick my neck out here and suggest this room had something to do with surveying. The clues being the targets on the wall, and the laser warnings. A place where total stations or similar were tested or calibrated perhaps?

Curious. And interesting.

I think the company was something to do with the construction industry, the other room with the laser warnings might have been for calibrating laser levels.

The calibrated gauges were (I think) to check subsidence.

OT - R-Sigs huh? REME here.
