Time to hit the road with Martino ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/martino_ ) for a 5 days visit to the former DDR.

While mostly all other abandoned buildings in this city were trashed and turned into garbage dump,
this one was almost untouched, only natural decay.

Used as a sanatorium by the Russians.
Strange to discover some rooms were they used to make some medicin.
The big bottles still hanging against the wall.

What a fantastic place, love the first pic of the outside. :) Good to see the glass bottle medicine thing intact, and all the paintings above all the doors.

Excellent find mate, and excellent pics as always. I really do need to get a passport with all the great places you find.

Cheers,

:) Sal

This is great, shows how few chavs there are over there. I love the picture of Lenin over the door

I believe the German equivalent of a chav/ned is a gartennazi. The derives from comparing a nazi with a garden gnome... something like that.

They are generally disliked by most.
