An old government quarters that dates from around the 1960's.

I was going to ask why you called it Yoda's house................but never mind there are more abandoned houses like this next door?

I have a question Raz,

I've noticed in these pictures (and also in some of your other reports) that there are no balustrades or railings on the staircase. However there are railings on the staircases in other of your reports. Are staircase railings common in Malaysia or does it depend on the region or type of building? Or were they simply stripped out? Given the generally very good condition of abandoned buildings that you report on, I tend to discount this possibility. Judging from the pic above it does not appear to have been there in the 1st place.

I think in this case it's more than likely that the railings have been stripped out for scrap,
as there was evidence of main fixing points at the top and bottom of the stairs.
