    Default Monastery L.

Somewhere in Holland stands this abandoned monastery.
I could not find out for how long it was empty, but my guess is around 12 years.

Many items left inside, for Holland this is very rare.
Most of the old buildings normally are destroyed very soon, either by local youth or demolishing companies.

Such a beautiful staircase. Another great find and photos.
    Cheers, Bart. :)

    Yes, very strange...
And many religious items also were left behind.
The strangest thing about that is that they didn't see any worth in it to take it with them...
I'm not religious, but it seems undecent to me to leave all these items behind.
In the room of the priests many wooden crosses left behind with the names on it of people who died there.
I think thats not really respectfull to do...
