The coalfired powerplant

Eastern germany is full of abandoned factories.
Since the wall between east in west is gone, many companies could't compete anymore with the western companies or didn't
reach the high standards.
For many many people this meant that they lost their job.

Most empty buildings are really in bad condition.
All metals are stolen, most windows are broken and every wall is tagged with graffitti.

This one hoewever was is really pristine codition.
Small, but beautifull.

Nice one Bartje, the last few photos remind me of the drawings by HR Geiger (desinger of 'Alien'). Nice find.

Looking at the pipework makes me wonder what the generators look like??

I can see asbestos insulation in the last pic - hope you took care....
