Go on, time for a come back of our old italian beautiful decayed temples, this is a sort of Colosseum inside a sugar mill.
Security is there every some hours.
We found a hole but snow stopped us from an ordinary route.
We succeeded in getting there without leaving footsteps on the wrong places.
The snow-covered rooftop was a pleasure for the eyes.

Here we go, enjoy, if you like'em:

That place is amazing, seen shots of it before on flickr, would love to visit one day. You've captured it really well:)

looks like a great place

Italy seems to have lots of empty buildings, I least they look empty from the transfer bus

What are the trespass laws in Italy, going very soon

Impressive structure. Presumably built like that to use the gantry crane for bringing up materials to the different floors. It seems like a waste of floor space...love it though!

It looks odd to me too. Sugar is made by crushing and boiling sugar cane, so why all these floors?

But looks fab anyway, wish I could visit

Was this the place you were telling me aboute mate? if so, it was well worth the trip, great shots of a wonderful looking building, would love to know how the process worked in such a great shaped building.

I think that was just the old distilling plant, the newest is in perfect condition, just next to it an guarded sometimes by security. Only sometimes :)

@gangeox: we talked about something different, another region. That was another beautiful trip, next time I'll show all of you something about it too.:)
