Beag Castle, Limerick, Ireland

First before I begin I must thank Faing whose visit to this place made me want to go there myself. I was over in Ireland visiting a friend and did a few places whilst there. This being a must because of the position of the place, beautiful views over the Shannon, spoilt only by Shannon airport. Faing said he didn't like heights and I don't either but my friends went up the spiral staircase only realising that it was highly dangerous afterwards lolol. I tried telling them but they wouldn't listen. Any road up the pics.

next time you come over send me a pm and i send you a few more locations arond limerick west that yo may like to see as there are lots of them around the erea that you was in when yuo went to beag castle at askeaton.did you look at the hellfire club or akeaton castle or the abbey? you must of drived past them but mebbe you wass short on time or it was raining...wich happens a lot haha. if you want me to remove there pics from your post just aks me and i will remove them. can i sends pics by pm? didnt know if i could so i put a few on here not meaning to interfre wit hyou thread .you got soem pics from the grassy floor isee wich is on flor one wich i have ben up to but the spiral y starcase is dead iffy. the oil tanks was put there by the russians belive it ornot. they had no money to pay for landig at shannon airport so they uesd to send oil up the river in a ship and bartwer it in return for fees. you are righ, they spoil a nice view but sure we got plenty of nice views to go at anyhows.

It shows everyone the amazing amount of non documented places that Ireland has to offer the modern explorer. I'll pass on the info about those oil tanks to my friend Sophie who I know will have no idea thats how they came to be there.
