Started as a library and ended as a forgotten museum.

Ooh, what a treasure trove! So many nice things. The old tins are great...I have some similar, full of metallic mix too!. :D
Fantastic find, Obscurity. Welcome to DP. :)

Some Dutch "uitlening" and on the banners at the demonstration, some French (the book, I think, though it's hard to make out individual words), a tin marked "De Spa et Fils, Verviers". I'm picking up strong Belgian vibes here. Am I getting warm?

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
