This is a heavily modernised prewar plantation bungalow. Lots of added cinder block walls
and blocked in spaces have dulled the original charm of this colonial era residence. By the
dates of the graffiti, I think this place has been abandoned for the best part of 15 years.
In modern times many of these old estates are now within easy reach of cities and towns.
Managers no longer see the need to live on site anymore, preferring the daily commute.
So old houses like this are ultimately pushed to one side and forgotten.
