On our tour in Russia we found this beautyfull church far out on the country, even though krypt thieves and vandals been there it still leaves an impressive appearance.

That's really lovely, Lusker. I've never seen inside a Russian Orthodox church before...very interesting to see.

oooooooooh I love seeing pics of anything Russian, they're architecture is something else. The hole in the floor, does that get anywhere near a crypt? I looks very deep, so that's the thought I had. Love the altar, in fact, love it all.

Will have a look at your flickr from Russia when I have time later on.

Yeah there was some kind of krypt but very little space and allot of trash down there...pitch black.

But there must have been something down there since some one whould spend hours on a hole like that :mrgreen:
