I have known about this little abandoned house for a while. I had a little look round some time ago and when i returned recently i was surprised to see how much everything had decayed. Apologies for the poor photography. I was just using a happy snapper.

I have derived from sources that there is particular significance to this toilet but i am reluctant to recount it until i am happy with the credibility of the source

This separate shed was also full of old car parts. All very organised. Ebay heaven.

A very sad and tired old house with evidence of some very happy and lively memories inside.
Its strange to see so much stuff and so many belongings just abandoned and left to rot. The only thing more intriguing than the contents is the reason it was all forgotten.

Bloody hell, I think I passed this when visiting my family in Ringwood North back in December!!! I passed it up, and only explored what was left of Kyenton district hospital!!
You a local down there then?!?!?:)

Hey guys love your find. Can I ask where abouts I'd love to take some photos.

Does this house still exist? If so where is it?

Hi lilnikkii welcome along.

few things, we are not really about giving locations on this site, some locations are posted with names at the discretion of the poster & admin may remove these anyway if we consider the place needs keeping on the quiet.
why you may ask? unfortunately locations tend to have a very short life span once they have been given out publicly partially in the UK.

secondly the OP is from Australia & hasnt been seen since 2018 so the chances of getting a response is slim.

thirdly dont take it the wrong way but its shit anyway! there is so much better stuff out there than soggy old houses.
yes some are interesting but IMO this one just comes under the cluttered mess catagory!

It certainly is a "soggy old house", and there will be many of them - but streets of Victorian two-storey one-and-two- bedroom flats in London are also very common and nothing in particular to look at (I lived in one for 29 years). It is the common, not special, nothing in particular to look at that make up the culture of a country.

As described by this guy in his You Tube posts most buildings in Australia get destroyed to make way for new developements. Which has porbably happened with this derelict house. According to a newspaper clipping which had a date of 2001, by now I think the house would be flattened. I subscribed to this guys' channel as some of the derelict houses are interesting and in Australia.

It would depend where in Australia an abandoned building is. Out in the country, it could last for a long time. When I was in the Kimberley area of Western Australia in 1977-78, I came across an old farmhouse that might have been built in the 1920s.

Oh fair enough! Yeah I totally understand.. sorry I'm new to this website and to the idea of exploring these old abandoned places, it's a new found enjoyment of adventures and mysterys I have found myself intensly intriegued by them so I am from Australia and I'm interested in finding cool places to explore in the Melbourne region if anyone knows of any?

It's pointless to ask any of us Brits for locations of dereliction in Australia. Here's the link again for Urbex Indigo who lives in (would you believe it!) Melbourne, VIC.
