Like almost every company it started small, almost 100 years ago.
But through the years it grew and it grew and it grew until there was a whole cookie-empire.
From this factory the cookies were distributed through whole Germany, by train and by truck.
After 90 years it grew out of its coat, and left the city with some nice abandoned buildings.

What an amazing building! Right up my street as far as brutalism goes, it has a really good 1950s - 1970s feel about it. And it's in such good condition apart from being very dirty. I love the smooth spiral staircase, and the arched roof! Lovely. The place should certainly be refurbished, NOT turn down.

Like it lots, and it seems to have very little damage apart from one or two punched panels.
