Hi all
So this was our first port of call on our Subbrit trip around Poland, It was up until the end of the cold war the bunker to house the Mayor of Poznan, set down a quiet street just outside
the city at number 62 Słupska Street in Krzyżowniki, does not look much from the outside.
But walk around to the side of the building and a small covered walk way leads down via steps to a heavy steel blast door, Once through this you are meet with a full on nuclear blast proof
bunker.
And its mint................
This is the view of the blast door protected entrance.
This is a meeting and comms room, each cubby hole has 3 phones and a sound proof door, even the lights in the small rooms worked.
Next up the plant room, Nice
Then "Connecting you now komrade"
There are map rooms and phones every where, just the sort of thing any well healed cold war nut case could want.
Well there you go, thanks for looking as normal there are a few more shots from inside the Bunker on my FlickR page so if you want more head over to
