Hi All
This is the last part of the MRU bunker complex, it`s called the NORD loop, built as part of the WW2 german defences in poland, The NORD loop is in fact at the very southern end
of the MRU complex, there are 5 surface block houses that make up this section, Nord, Sud, A1, A2 and A3, the Loop is in fact a loop within a loop and the many off shoots that were
used for ammunition storage, again all the passages are linked with narrow gauge railway to move Ammo and personnel around the 29Km complex.
The First shot is the top of the NORD blockhouse or bunker, it was never finished so only the concrete floor and the tons of re-bar used are visible.
There is the standard entry shaft under this "floor" level. Then tunnel run off in all directions.
There is a small side passage that looks to be part of the drainage system to the MRU complex, though this was not marked on our maps, and it just went on and on.
This is another of the "Stations" in the MRU, to the right there are steps leading up to another floor for personnel accommodation this station is called "KONRAD"
These are high volume water tanks at the base of PzW766 block house

Here are 2 more shots from deep down in the NORD loop, at the end of the day the tour guides and the guys that sorted out the visit Chris and Raf set up dinner for all the Subbrit members.
Dinner by candle light, beer and vodka.
