BMX Track

Pretty lame.
Mangere BMX Track, Auckland New Zealand. 2014
I raced this track in the early 80's.
Moved away from the area and went back for a reminise last year.
I think by the early 90's BMXing had done it's turn.
The council mows the lawn, The track shows some limited use by motorcross bikes.
The jumps,whoop-de-doo's and berms have eroded (quite a bit) but it sits in all it's former glory.
Even the starting gate and lane lines remain.

Well that's pretty random. I quite like it.

Ha ha....that's pushing the "derelict place" envelope a bit far, but hey, why not!

nice to see something different....lived out in Gisborne when I was a kid, no where near Auckland but hey!
