Hi all

Right onwards and downwards.

Moving along from the previous location we get to the Princess Royal battery, this is also part of the north defence line and was also built in the 1800`s, this battery only had the one gun but like the rest it faced Spain (there`s a pattern here).
The top side of the battery is a mess and the below ground area ain`t much better as it has fire damage.

Looking at the site over view, the gun location is at the back and to the left.

So a quick hop over the fence and slip slide down the stairs, you get to the underground rooms.

One of the rooms still had its wooden doors intact.

Next to this was this small room, with lighting recesses.

There was not much else to see here but we did find a rock cut tunnel with a part brick lining.

Shame about the fire damage, but ive seen far worse over here ! Looks like a good explore !
