Default Old house near Brentelle, North Italy, April 2017

First report from a few explores I did on a recent family holiday in Northern Italy. Very much a case of finding out what was in the local area rather than a pure urbex trip where you go to pre-decided, specific sites. This place isn’t very spectacular but came across it on a day trip out and thought it rude not to have a look-see. Basically a three-storey country house with assorted out-buildings. The former is in much better condition than the latter. Can, unsurprisingly, find no history for the place and it clearly has been abandoned for some time. Easy access and worth the 20 or so minutes I spend poking around here.

On to the house itself. Fenced off but there’s always a gap isn’t there?

    And we’re in:

    Who nicked the floors?

    And the wall?

And the stairs to the first floor!

And where did this bike come from?

So many questions, too few answers. It will get more exciting as we go on…promise!

Cheers both. Was a bit of a limited subject unlike some of the bigger houses to come later...

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
