Earlier this year, I did a cracking 1200 mile roadtrip round Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada.
Had a look round this little derelict logger’s cabin on the windswept northern peninsula .
The cabins themselves were nothing spectacular; but the setting certainly was.
Despite good hiking boots, I returned to the car with soaking wet feet from the mountain run off flood water; Probably why they were abandoned.
We went on to cross the hair raising iceberg choked straight to Labrador on a car ferry, which was guided by an ice breaker; even in June!!

Excellent seeing the landscape behind the remote cabins is special, sometimes its not just about the abandoned place, but what its setting is, this is brilliant, love the last shot at the end :)

That's a nice setting, a bit open but the cabin needs a little TLC and could be a nice little holiday home. Not too keen about the beach though.

I think that was definitely an abandoned iceberg as the inhabited ones have polar bears on:welcoming:

Wow what an adventure Wombat!!! An amazing place to visit.
