The individuals who provided the labour force for these bunkers were not Slaves - they were forced into Slave Labour by the Nazis; a subtle but very important difference. Those brave individuals should be remembered for all time, as people with the same aspirations as ourselves. Their lives cut short by a group of people who basically did not like their beliefs and lifestyle - tread carefully people, the same morons are still inhabiting the streets of the World today! My Dad, and the father's of many of my friends saw the aftermath of these horrors as they occupied Germany. I never heard Dad speak about this aspect of the war, and only really understood when I found some of his war time writings; long after he had died. In this day and age of PTSD, one suddenly realises how badly let down by the State, our fathers were after conflict ended.
