These are some pictures from one of my favourite places at the Belgian coast. It is near "Fort Napoleon", which used to be a famous derelict place, but it is restored now. In the neighborhood there is a shipyard, and also quite a number of "Atlantikwall" bunkers.

Welcome to the site BertG . Great pictures mate. I`d very much like to see more too. My late grandad was over in Belgium with the Assault Engineers towards the end of 1944, he passed through oostende
 
Sorry, no more pictures available. These were taken in april 2008. Discovered DP only a month ago, otherwise i would have taken much more. It's great to share these images with you people who appreciate them, thanks!
