This is the tower i mentioned.
It is located adjacent to the A548 in Llannerch-y-mor North Wales, directly opposite the fabric warehouse.
it is a round redbrick structure similar in shape to the tower of a windmill but larger in circumfrence.
unfortunatly i didn't have time for a closer look.
Any ideas anyone?
 
No idea what that round brick building is! As for the Duke of Lancaster i'm not sure if it is concreted in or not i've seen pics of her hull at the water line and theres so much mud it's difficult to tell.

I'm currently trying to rally up support to save her but... i think people are pessamistic or too pragmatic! Don't get me wrong there are lots of people who would love to help save the old girl though.

I'm also trying to find out if she is or is not going to the scrap yard later on this year as there are many rumors flying about. I shall keep people updated when i know anything. :mrgreen:
