Saw this link on another site and thought it might be useful to members here.
The map covers all of Britain and hovering the cursor over the icons gives name/location. The brown icons also give a satellite image link. Some of the sites eg Marks Gate near Romford, Essex have already been covered here.
Might give members loations of existing sites near to them for a good explore.

Very interesting, bookmarked for future reference. Would appear to only cover sites that were initially active in WW II and not sites that originated in the post War, Cold War, period. For instance the HAA site at Roydon is not shown, mirroring the info on THIS SITE which is specific to 1939/45. Not done a detailed cross reference between the two sets of info but might be useful.

The link to GE only works for the brown or gold icons. Presumably the others either no longer exist or links have not yet been added.
From the site home WWW.anti-aircraft.co.uk they seem to be looking for reports on the HAA sites and radar sites etc. Seems to be a 'work in progress'.

If you check out the other site I linked to in my previous post, each site is listed with an OS map reference which can be converted HERE to latitude and longitude which can be directly in putted into Google Earth/Maps (the co-ordnates in the link are to the HAA site in Finsbury Park, North London, now overbuilt by an athletics track and associated buildings :( )

The converter is very useful, cheers John. The home site is not clear on whether it covers only WW2 era HAA/radar, might be worth contacting them to ask. haven't had a reply to my email yet.

All these and more are in the eDoB overlay so no need for conversion.
