Until November 2006 the church still performed an annual service but unfortunatly it is now in a state of disrepair so a decision was made to close it until renovation work could be carried out to make the tower safe.
The body of the church was re-built in 1838. The tower is original 14th century work.

The roof is now leaking and the walls are damp :(

What a cute little church. Please tell me that you tried playing the organ. :)

That water seepage will take hold in no time - it would be a crime to see the place rot...
 
I love the way that original details were incorporated into the re-build. Lovely little place...looks like an idyllic setting too.

Such a lovely place and great photos. It is a disgrace that places like this are lost and I wish I had the money to save it from being wrecked.
