Not a ruin, not truly derelict but now redundant and no longer used for regular public services, the church at Buckenham sits looking over the Yare Valley in the Norfolk Broads. I visited this site last year while house sitting, since then I believe it's been spruced up a little by the norfolk churches conservation trust yet the interior still retains an element of what happens to a rural country church after years of apparent neglect and abandonement by it's parish.

Some shots of the interior taken on todays look in!!

Very nice shots, Norfolkbloke. Normally I do not fancy the black and white shots, but these pictures were really nice.

Just glad I took my tripod along as I would have struggled to get anything like a sharp image in such a dark and dimly lit building with my little compact!! A few of the hand held shots weren't so succesful!!! ;o)
