I remember going here as a kid, it used to be open to the public, but has fairly recently been competely bricked off, with an aprox 8 - 9ft. wall. Although the church itself is still very much in use, there is now no public access to the cemetery behind at all. Most of the grave stones are large slabs lying on the ground, so unfortunately a lot of them are now covered with undergrowth.
The cemetery only appears to have been used between 1845 - 1866. It is locally thought that the cemetery was used as surplus to bury the bodies of those taken by an outbreak of cholera.

1. The gates to the still used church.

2. The back of the church, and the now very over-grown cemetery.

3. A little path at the back of the church.

4. Some of the graves.

5. The only standing grave.

6. Looking over the old cemetery.

Oh, that's lovely.

Entirely bricked off, you say? No access at all, even from the church? How peculiar...
