Had the chance to walk around the old ruined church of Roudham today deep in the Norfolk Brecklands, I've seen this place a few times from the train while commuting between Norfolk and the west mids so was nice to see the ruins close up....and with a decent new camera!!! ;o)

Best feature has to be the tower, the local Jackdaws and Pigeons seemed to like it aswell!!

Cheers BS, glad you liked the pics.

I have heard of the church at Garboldisham, doesn't seem to be much left of it except part of the tower so haven't yet explored that one yet!! Do you happen to know what the access situation is at North Burlingham?...from the Norfolk Churches website I gather it's in some guys back garden...would love to look this one over on my next trip back to Norfolk!!

Roudham Church sure is lovely. Its not far from where I and Team M02W are exploring in the morning!:) I love ruined Churches, they have a special ambience of their own. I want to take Mo2w to St Peters at Burlingham as well!;):) Its bloody Brill!
