Hi all; well the last site we visited was a lovely old church ruin and it was called St Mary's Church, Islington, in Norfolk, which is next door to Islington Hall Farm, immediately to the south of the A47 between King's Lynn and Wisbech.

A bit of history in brief from Wikipedia,

The oldest fabric in the ruin dates from the late 13th century, and is found in the nave, the chancel, and the transepts. The tower was added when the church was remodelled in the 15th century. Although it is now a ruin, the church was still intact in 1883. The chancel was closed by the building of a west wall in 1972.
Only the tower and the chancel have retained their roofs.
The bell tower still to this day has its two bells but to my disappointment there is no access.
The church is now grade 2 listed and under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust.
So on with my photos

I was also disappointed that I could not get any shots of what was left of the old stain glass windows as my batteries decided to die in my camera. :( thanks for looking

Nice pics. Looks like the top of that tower was rebuilt at some point.
