Location
Malton North Yorkshire
A small village north of York, off the beaten track.
The church, dedicated to St. Cuthbert, has a belfry containing two bells. It was entirely rebuilt in 1855 on the site of the old one and demolished in the early 1960’s.
The last internment took place in 1962. Only the vicarage, now a private house and the Cemetery remains.

Quite sad to see peoples (surely once dearly loved persons) final resting place appearing so abandoned, I guess people dont tend to anyones graves there anymore so mother nature stepped in

Not far from my house is Arnos Vale (less than a mile). I'm waiting for some clear skies to go shoot it with my new camera. It's just been grey grey grey so far.

Visited just a few days before Christmas. Not a single bunch of flowers or a wreath in sight.
