The church was built in 1847, rebuilt in 1850 and restored in 1913. Sadly it has been condemned as unsafe & in bad repair.

as you say your quite far from here for a day trip but this place is great even better that just behind this church is the old vicarage which is derelict had a wonder around that as well, i posted the pictures in the forums if you wanna look :)
 
Are we giving out the full location of this place now then? I thought with it being such a nice untouched (quite obviously a nice little community church) it would be nice to keep it out of prying eyes a little.

St Helen's Church does not give away too much, but the actual location is a bit much!
