This church has been posted a few times now and it made me want and go and see for myself. The race meeting was cancelled today so I managed to get away early. I had already been at a couple of sites this morning and one more on the way here (Will post reports when I have chance) But this took me by surprise with just the size of the place and the location, I can imagine what the place had looked like overlooking the valley before all the trees hide it.
At first I could not see a way in and as there was a mound of stones near a window I jumped through, only later to find a door open at the very back.
Don't know much about the place but think its a shame to end up this way.

When someone said it was tight getting up the tower, they were not joking.
Me scared of heights??? Yep in a big way and being on my own didn't help, glad I done it though
