St Lawrence's Church is a redundant Anglican 14th-century church with a 15th-century tower. A series of wall paintings covering large parts of the north and south walls, discovered during an 1849 restoration. They had been covered in plaster for 300 plus year.

On the south wall is a depiction of Saint George and the dragon: Saint George lost his head in the 15th century when the ceiling was lowered.

The church is now looked after by volunteers and is open to the public upon request.

You captured the stained glass window quite well, did you have any trouble getting permission?
Would be nice to see an overview of the inside, any pews?
I wish my front door had a key like that :p

Thank you.
Permission was very easy to get. there's a sign on the parish notice board advising who holds the keys.
The pews are still there - they didn't come out very well.

There's very little damage - just a little peeling paint work considering its cold, damp and virtually unused.

Some long shots to get a view of the internal dimensions would be great - but then, you have undoubtedly got an important set here. Thank you for posting.
