St. John the Baptist church was abandoned in the 1880's and is prob not going to be for this world much longer with trees now growing into the walls..most of the graveyard still exists.

About a mile down the road is the slightly larger and a little more impressive st marys church.hidden well away in the trees and the walls hardly noticeable through the overgrowth.this was abandoned about the same time as the other one.when a new church was built in the centre of the village between the two.
