i had seen a picture of this church online, and really wanted to see it,so a quick search on google and Google Earth.i located it,thank god for the Internet,so a drive through a massive estate with deer running wild.anyway I eventually found it tucked away in an overgrown corner, when I first approached it,the place took my breath away.four large columns at the front and the place looked just like a temple..built in 1769 and redundant since the 80's the place is still maintained by the estate, but is now looking tired.

A great example of a Roman influenced Chapel, obviously once a very, very rich estate.

It's a massive sprawling estate..the house was gutted by fire and laid derelict for one hundred years and it's now been rebuilt into apartments.and for quite tastefully too.but was surprised because I expected the house to be bigger.

Maybe they spent all the money on the place of worship?! Either way it's lovely, thanks for posting it. :)
