Something I've never seen before - the ruins of a church right next to the church still in use. After a bit of internet research I found out that both were parish churches until the Reformation, the two parishes arising from the presence of two different manors.

Unfortunately it is all fenced off now, so you can't get into the church. It looks like the building is quite unstable so I guess it is purely a safety thing. Therefore, all photos were taken peering through the fence or reaching over it! Still, hopefully the shots give you an idea of it all.























 
I think the ivy has a lot to answer for,don't if it's my imagination but ivy seems to have become very invasive over the past 10 years especially hedgerows and up trees.Under the conditions you got some really good images..nice one.

Nature always wins! Great pics, really enjoyed looking at them!
